My name is Reyes Nino, and I’ve worked in all aspects of the rehabilitation and rehabilitation staffing industry from rehabilitation technician, staff PTA and Area Manager to President, Owner, and Operator of multimillion-dollar staffing agencies. I entered the staffing industry in 1994 as an owner and operator of a San Antonio, Texas based staffing agency providing per diem, travel, and permanent staffing services to companies throughout the nation. Prior to writing this book, I utilized my knowledge in the rehabilitation staffing industry to contract myself as a Physical Therapist Assistant, and my wife as an Occupational Therapist Assistant, to healthcare facilities and home-health agencies in and around our hometown and occasionally throughout Texas. Contracting for ourselves has allowed us to be compensated at rates higher than what most master- and doctorate-level staff therapists were making in the same areas.

Through the years, I’ve witnessed and experienced the extreme lows of severe national corporate restructuring in the late 90’s and the extreme highs of selling to one of the healthcare staffing industry’s largest publicly-traded organizations. I look forward to sharing my experiences and knowledge to help other rehab professionals exceed their professional and lifestyle goals.
